This was going to be my entry to JAI's challenge this week but I wasn't really happy with it so I decided to have another try. Much happier with the next one. See below for the final entry.
Come and join in the fun at JAI  http://just-add-ink.blogspot.com.au/

This is my entry to JAI's challenge 256 I made one and wasn't really happy with it so I decided to do another and try to make it a bit more delicate by using Vellum for the flowers, leaves and butterfly wings. I also used a different flower and leaves. The little bees have acetate wings which makes them look more real. Much happier with the results. Thanks for visiting my blog. I would love you to leave a comment and let me know which one you prefer. I will post the original for you to compare.

There is a lot of fussy cutting to make this card so if you don't like fussy cutting it might not be the card to CASE.

Directions:-
Stamps= fabulous Florets, Nature Walk, Hello Doily, Weathered, En Francais, Elements of Style. Most of these are retired but I love them.
card stock= Naturals White, Whisper White, Sarah Sand, Vellum, Something Borrowed DSP.
Ink= sarah Sand, VersaMark, StazOn Black.
Extras= Pretty in Pink, Wisteria Wonder, Daffodil Delight.- Stampin' write markers. 5/8" Organza Ribbon. Sweetheart and Scalloped Tag Topper punches. Pearl Basic Jewels.
Glue= I used glue dots, Dimensional and Tombo multipurpose glue.

Method:  Cut from Naturals White card stock a square card. I just cut a strip off the side of an A4 sheet at 5 and 7/8ths. Use the off cut to make the top layer of the tag 1 6/8" x 4". Punch the top using Scalloped Tag Topper. Then stamp this using En Francais and sponge edges.
From Sarah Sand cut a 5 1/2" square and sponge the edges with Sarah Sand ink. Cut another piece of SS
5 1/4"x 5 1/4. Tear this piece diagonally and rough up the other 2 sides with a blade or scissors. Cut a piece 2" x 4 1/4 and Scallop Tag Top the top edge and sponge the edges. cut a piece of White Organza ribbon 7" long and join the two tags.
Cut DSP  5 1/4. Glue the triangle of SS to the DSP. cut a piece 2'' x 4 1/2 for the tag.
Stamp Hello Doily onto Whisper White using Sarah sand and fussy cut. mount this on the card using dimensionals. then mount the tags also using Dimensional. Stamp the greeting onto Whisper white, punch out using the Sweetheart punch, sponge the edges and add the pearls. mount using Dimensionals.
Using Fabulous Florets stamp 9 large flowers, 9 small flowers and 9 leaves using VersaMark and white embossing powder. Heat emboss.
Colour the backs of the flowers with Pretty In Pink and the leaves with Certainly Cellery.
Now comes the fun part. All of the flowers and leaves need to be fussy cut and layered using glue dots the middle layer of the flowers only has 3 petals to show the underneath and the top layer is missing the very back petals. The bees were stamped on Whisper White and acetate and fussy cut removing the wings from the W.W. The wings from the acetate are cut keeping the center piece together so they are in one piece. They are then bent upwards and glued to the body of the bees which are coloured with Daffodil Delight.
The butterfly is stamped onto Whisper Whit once and on Vellum twice. Cut the body from the whisper white and the wings from the vellum using StazOn Black and  colour the back of the vellum with Wisteria Wonder. now just assemble the card and you will have a beautiful card to give that special someone. I used glue dots for the bees and butterfly and dimensionals for the flowers.
Lots of instructions to follow but the end result is worth it. Happy Stampin'

These are my interpretation of Hershi kisses Easter bunnies. I saw these adorable little bunnies on FB this morning and a huge thanks to Bernice Collins     http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/creativeedge/blog?directBlogUrl=%2Fblog%2F4007579%2Fentry%2Fhershey_bunny

for coming up with a pattern for them. Little Hershi kisses fit inside the triangles in the body. The originals came from -Brenda Quintana- qbeesquest.com. Really quick and easy to make as well. The embellishments took longer than the bunnies themselves. Thanks for dropping by my blog.Feel free to leave me a comment. Happy stampin'.

I made this Card in a Box as an entry to a colour challenge. I don't own the colours they listed so I went ahead and used the closest I had. I'm waiting to hear back if they will accept my entry then I will add the link. It is amazing the change of colour when you heat emboss. All of the orange card stock was the same colour to start with I just embossed the petite flowers.
Colours I used: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Sarah Sand and Whisper white.
I embossed the Always Artichoke background with Spring Floweres embossing folder. The Old Olive leaves were cut using Little Leaves and outlined with Always Artichoke. Small flowers are Petite Petals then the matching punch was used to cut them. I then Versamarked and using clear embossing powder, heat embossed them. The butterflies are suspended using very stiff acetate.
Ribbon is Old Olive (now retired)
Butterflies are Papillion Potpourri and Elegant Butterfly punch.
The brad is from the Antique Brads collection and I added a little Linen thread.
These take a long time to make but they are lots of fun.
The dimensions for this card are 15cm x 29.5cm. Score @ 7cm, 14cm,21cm, and 28cm turn and score the full length @ 7cm . Just a tip only fold down the sides and front, don't fold down the back panel as you need it to stand up I always add another layer of embossed card stock or a layer of DSP anyway and also a long panel of white or vanilla to the outside of the back to write on.
 Happy Stampin'

I have been making blank white cards for a friend who does cross stitch and the center of the card needs to be cut out for her to place her beautiful work behind. I did 50 cards for her with all different shaped holes which meant I had 50 blank white pieces. These two cards are the first of the 50 using the Apothecary Accent framelits. I'm looking forward to using all of the other shapes as well.

Products used.
Mellon Mambo, Perfect Plum, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder card stock.
Boho Blossom and Elegant Butterfly punches.
Elegant Bouquet (retired) and Decorative Dots embossing folders
The green leaves are not SU unfortunately.
Papillon Potpourri and Good Greetings stamps.
Happy Stampin'

This little box was inspired by Elaine from Parercraft Button UK.

I love how you can make up several of these and store them flat then when you need them just pop them up and add the embellishments. Elaine has some wonderful you tube tutorials for inspiration.
